Delete your PrayApp account
Not legal advice. This page is the public account-deletion URL for Google Play Data safety and a human-readable explanation of the in-app flow. There is no signed-in web dashboard for end users yet — deletion happens in the app, or by email if you cannot open the app.
Delete in the app (preferred)
- Install PrayApp and sign in with the same email, Google, or Apple account you want to delete.
- Open Profile, then Settings, then Delete account.
- Choose what should happen to prayers you already sent (the three options below). There is no default — you must pick one.
- Confirm it is you: enter your password, or complete Google / Apple again if that is how you sign in.
- Confirm deletion. It runs immediately. There is no grace period and we cannot restore the account.
On a phone that already has the app, you can also try prayapp://settings/delete-account.
If you cannot open the app
Email mkholi23@gmail.com from the same address that is on the account (including an Apple Hide My Email address if you used that).
- Subject:
Delete my PrayApp account - Say that you want the account deleted, and which prayer option you want (A, B, or C below). If you do not say, we will use option C (delete everything you wrote) unless you tell us otherwise before we act.
- We may ask a short verification question so we do not delete the wrong person. We aim to complete verified requests within 7 days, usually sooner.
What happens to your prayers

| A. Keep them, without my name | Prayers you sent to a person or a group stay, shown as “A brother/sister in Christ.” Asks you shared with all friends are removed, because that audience would no longer exist. |
| B. Keep only the ones I sent directly | People you prayed for one-to-one keep that copy, without your name. Group posts, friend-wide asks, and blessings you wrote are removed. |
| C. Delete everything I wrote | Every prayer, request, and blessing you wrote is permanently removed. |
In every case we still:
- Delete your profile, photo files, friends list, group memberships, contact hashes, and notification tokens.
- Remove you from groups. If you were the last member, the group is removed. If you were the only admin and others remain, admin is handed to another member.
- Leave reports you filed in place, without your name, so abuse records stay useful.
- Hold your username for about 90 days so nobody else can take it immediately.
- Delete the sign-in user so you cannot sign in again with that account.
Prayers other people sent to you stay with the author; you are no longer listed as the recipient.
